Flower identification

Category: flower

Although I usually can find identification to the flowers I shoot, there are always those that fall between the cracks and I thought I would ask for your help to fill in the blanks. I created a flower ID page on my site, please have a look in case you can help out! All ideas appreciated, because I’m fresh out of IDs.

Would be nice to help you, but my knowledge in plants is very limited. #21 seems to be from Viola-, and #8 could be from Cardamine family.

I started reading my brand new Svensk Fältflora (yes, some people read Harry Potter, I read flower guides) and found two of the flowers. :) I’m sure that the rest of them are also hiding in Fältflora or in Den Nya Nordiska Floran, but the latter is about 900 pages… that’s a lot of flowers!

You were right about #11 - it’s a violet, field pansy (pelto-orvokki) to be exact. I’m normally good with violets but this one was so small that I never considered it an option - normally the pansies are a lot bigger. The thought of a violet bud never occured to me, LOL!

    Thank you! :)

    #3 resembles Lychnis viscaria,
#9 seems to belong in Vicia -family
